Paul was 6 weeks away from his 40th birthday. He was the youngest in our family of 5. And the baby amongst our cousins. We are a fair size Italian family and Paul was so loved because he was the joker of our family. The one we deemed as the life of the party.
When Paul and I were younger, we would try to one up each other with pranks and who could scare who coming out of whatever room we were in. We always fought and made up within 5 minutes. It was truly a special bond.
Paul was the best man to my older brother at his wedding, they are 9 years apart and Godfather to 2 of my children.
There is not a single day that I don’t weep at the loss of his presence. We miss him every single day and to say we don’t know what we will do without him in our lives is an understatement.
His legacy will not end here. We will do everything we can to preserve paul as the happy go lucky boy and man Paul was.

Dear Paul Brizzi - we miss you so much and still feel you never left us because we feel you in our hearts everyday. Its so hard to try and write about you because there is so much anger in me every time I think about what that thoughtless selfish drunk driver caused our family to go through and live with this pain. I am grateful and was really happy to not only have you as my baby cousin but because we are both electricians and worked together we played hockey together for so many years, I was blessed to have great memories and a bond that I will never forget. Your face and name always pop up in my mind all the time because of the life we did together and of course of the Habs which I follow all the time. So everything I do whether it is sports and work or family gatherings, I still feel you right next to me forever. Take care my special cousin; we will meet again. Miss you too much.
