My beloved son Rick was killed by an impaired driver only a few blocks from his home. He had run a quick errand after support and was looking forward to going out to play billiards with his friend Tom.


















My beloved son Rick was just to run a quick errand after supper and then was looking forward to going out with his friend Tom to play billiards. He never got back home, an impaired driver ran a red light at high speeds and killed my son as he was entering the intersection on a green light. Rick was a wonderful, loving, caring son. He left behind his wife Sue, son Cody 5 years old, son Jaydon 20 months old, his mom and dad, Del and Donna and his younger brother Dean. Rick was the kind of person who would help anyone in need, he would take the keys of a friend if the person was inebriated. He was not only my son, he was my best friend. He loved to call me just to talk about his day, problems he might be facing, and especially about grocery sales. I will miss him all the days of my life, I talk to him a lot, I cry everyday for him. It's coming up to 26 years since he left us but to me its always just yesterday.
