Harry Buxton

July 17, 1912 - February 13, 1981

My Dad had raised four children by himself and he did a great job. He had just been retired for three years when walking home one night he was killed by a 19 year old young man who had been on a pub crawl and was speeding. My Dad was someone who was loved by everyone he met and his life was cut way too short by one persons selfish act of drinking and getting behind the wheel of a car.
He was the much loved grandfather of Rob Swinson who was killed almost twelve years to the day later.
